Named GP.

In line with the new 2015 GP contracts all of our patients will be assigned a named GP.
You can find this out if you so wish by contacting the surgery to ask who your named GP is or waiting until we look at ways to inform everyone which we will be doing in the very near future.
This does not mean you only need to see this particular GP infact unless it is for an ongoing problem until it has been resolved, we would recommend varying which GP you see. This will enable the admin team to offer the first available appointment with any of the GP’s we hope within a acceptable period of time.Due to the recent problems with appointment availability the practice is currently working with the CCG transformation team to look at ways we can improve the services we are offering. We all share the recent frustrations and annoyance at the current wait for routine appointments and we appreciate everybody who has been so understanding when the admin team have been unable to fulfill peoples expectations, we all wait with baited breath at the outcome of the impending General Election to see which Party will be able to tackle the ever growing problems within Primary Care Services.
If however you wish to only see your named or another particular GP within the practice please do not be annoyed with the reception team if there is a long wait for these type of appointments, we can only offer what is available in the diary at the time you ask.
