If you are concerned about your sexual health you can contact the practice for advice. Our GPs can offer support and advice and our nurse practitioner can provide information on contraception. For most issues relating to sexual health, including getting advice for contraception and sexually transmitted diseases, there are clinics and services available in the area which are separate to the GP surgery.

 

The One to One Centre at Monkseaton offers a Walk In service on Mondays between 2pm and 6pm for emergency contraception, advice on contraception and free chlamydia and gonorrhoea services. The full address for the centre is:

The One to One Centre in Shiremoor is the local service for information relating to sexual health. They can be contacted on 0191 297 0441 and services are available 9am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday with some slots available on Saturdays. It is always best to call the centre before visiting to check which service you may need and when it is available. The full address for the centre is:
